If you’re like most people, you probably use your iPhone to access the internet, check email, and make phone calls. But what about when you want to stay private? You don’t want notifications telling you when someone has sent you an email or called you. You can disable flash notifications on your iPhone by going to Settings and selecting General. Then select Security and tick the box next to “Disable notifications for apps that use Flash.” Now whenever an app uses Flash, it won’t send a notification to your phone. This is great for apps that rely on Flash for their functionality, like YouTube and Facebook. If you’re not sure which app uses Flash, take a look at the App Store’s list of supported apps.
Turn Off iPhone’s LED Flash Alerts
To begin the flash alert deactivation process, open the Settings app on your iPhone.
In Settings, choose General > Accessibility > LED Flash for Alerts.
On the “LED Flash for Alerts” page, toggle off the “LED Flash for Alerts” option.
And you’re all set.
From now on, your iPhone’s flash won’t blink when you receive a new notification. Your regular notifications and their alerts will continue to arrive, though.
