If you’re like most people, you probably have at least one Kindle book that you’ve never seen the latest version of. But if you don’t own a Kindle, there’s a good chance that you have an older version of the Kindle books that are still in use. To get the latest version of your Kindle books, you can either:
- Download and install the latest Kindle software from Amazon.com. This will update your books and make them more compatible with new devices.
- Use an online service to sideload the latest Kindle software onto your computer or device. This will allow you to access your books even if you don’t have a Kindle device.
- Use an app on your phone or computer to read your books offline. This is especially helpful if you’re on a plane or have limited internet access.
One of the best things about buying digital books is that they can be updated after the initial publishing, and it usually doesn’t require buying a new version to get the latest updates. Kindle books are updated all the time, but you might not know unless you check.
