Audible is a great way to listen to your favorite books while you work or play. But if you’re like most people, you probably don’t have Audible on your Kindle. That’s because Audible doesn’t support Kindle reading mode. Fortunately, there are a few ways to get Audible onto your Kindle without having to sideload it. First, you can use the Amazon Kindle app to listen to Audible audiobooks on your phone or computer. Second, you can buy an Audible account and add it to your Kindle. Finally, you can use the Amazon Kindle app’s “Audible Reading Mode” feature to read audiobooks on your Kindle. To get started, open the Amazon Kindle app and sign in with your Amazon account. Then open the “Audible Reading Mode” tab and click on the “Add Audiobook” button. Type in a name for your audiobook and press OK. You’ll be able to see all of the audiobooks that are currently available for reading on your Kindle. To start reading an audiobook, just tap on it and start listening!

If you want to hide them, here’s what to do.

How to Hide Audible Books from the Home Screen

On your Kindle’s Home Screen, tap the three little dots in the top-right corner.

Then, in the pop-up menu, tap “Settings.”

Next, go to “Device Options.”

Then “Advanced Options.”

Then “Home & Library.”

And, finally, “Audible Content.”

Select “Show in Library Filter Only.”

Tap the “Home” button and now, on your Home Screen, you’ll only see Audiobooks if you’ve downloaded them.

How to See Your Hidden Audiobooks

Don’t worry though, if you want to browse all your books from Audible you still can. They just won’t clutter things up by default.

On the Home Screen tap “Filter”.

Then tap “Audible” in the pop-up menu.

Now you’ll see all your Audible audiobooks.

Tap on one to download it. Tap on it again to start listening to it.

Finally, to go back to your regular Home Screen, tap the small “X” to turn off the filters.
