If you’re like most people, you probably check Instagram every day to see what new posts are up. But if you’re like me, and you’re not always able to get around to reading all of your posts, there’s a good chance that some of them are unread. There are a few ways to mark unread posts on Instagram: by clicking the “Mark as Unread” button at the top of each post, by adding an “unread” tag to the bottom of each post, or by using the “Unread Posts” tool in the main menu. The “Mark as Unread” button is really easy to use: just click it and your post will be marked as unread. The “Unread Posts” tool is a little more complicated but it’s worth it because it lets you see all of your posts in one place so that you can quickly and easily find any that are currently unread. If you want to keep track of how often a particular post is being read, or if you just want to see what’s been popular on Instagram lately, I recommend using the “Instagram Trends” tool. This tool lets you see how often certain topics or hashtags are being used on Instagram and how much traffic they’re getting.
To mark a message unread on Instagram, you can either use the “Unread” notification or tap the three dots in the upper-right corner of the message.
The Unread button on Instagram does not work. It is just a way to see what you have missed in the past, and it does not update with new posts.
There are two ways to unread a message. The first is by scrolling up to the top of the message and tapping on the “Unread” button. The second way is by opening up the app’s “Message Archive” tab and tapping on the thread that you want to unread.

There is no way to mark iMessages as unread. If you want to save an iMessage for later, press the “More” button and select “Save.

You can flag a text message on your iPhone by tapping and holding the message and then tapping “More” followed by “Flag.
