If you’re like most people, you probably have an Android phone and a Fire TV. And if you do, you know how to mirror your screen on the Amazon Fire TV. But what if you don’t have an Android phone or Fire TV? What if you just want to mirror your screen on a computer? That’s where the Mirror app comes in. Mirror is a free app that lets you mirror your screen on any computer or device with an internet connection. You can also use Mirror to mirror your screen on a phone, tablet, or laptop. To use Mirror, first open the Mirror app and sign in with your Amazon account. Then click the three-dot button at the top of the main window to select which device you want to mirror your screen on: an Android phone, a computer, or a tablet. If you’re mirrored on an Android phone, click the three-dot button at the top of the main window and select “Android Phone.” If you’re mirrored on a computer or tablet, click “Computer” or “Tablet” and then select “Mirror.” If you’re mirrored on a phone, select “iPhone” and then select “Mirror.” Once you’ve selected which device to mirror your screen on, click “Mirror.” The main window will change to show what devices are connected to your Amazon account: an Android phone (if mirrored), a computer (if mirrored through Computer), or a tablet (if mirrored through Tablet). If there are any devices that aren’t connected to your Amazon account yet, they’ll be added in blue when Mirror is started. If everything is working as it should and mirrors correctly according to your settings, congrats! But if something isn’t working right–maybe one of your devices isn’tmirrored at all–you can troubleshoot some common issues by following these steps:

Open the “Cast” option.
Tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner and toggle the option for “Enable Wireless display.”
The text “Connected” will appear under your Fire TV’s name.
Your Android device’s screen will appear in portrait mode if the orientation lock is enabled. Open the Quick Settings menu and look for the orientation lock option, which is sometimes titled “Auto-rotate.” If it’s enabled, tap the button to disable it.
That’s it! Now play your favorite shows or app on your Android device, and they’ll show up on the TV set thanks to the Fire TV.
