If you have a family member who is a Microsoft account holder, it’s important to remove them from your account. This can be done by going to their profile and clicking on the “remove account” link. You will need to provide some information about why they are being removed, such as their name, address, and contact information. Once you have removed the account holder from your Microsoft account, they cannot access their account or use any features of the Microsoft platform until they are reinstated or replaced.


Log in to your Microsoft account and go to the “Family” tab. Select the person you want to remove and click on “Remove.” You will need to confirm your decision on the next screen.

To remove someone from your Microsoft account, you’ll need to visit https://account.live.com/. Next, click on the “Manage” tab and select “Family & other people”. From there, you’ll see a list of all the people who are part of your account. Find the person you want to remove and click on their name. Then, scroll down to the bottom of their profile page and select “Remove” under “Add or Remove People.

If you remove a child from your Microsoft family, they will no longer have access to any of the Microsoft services that are available to family members. This includes Xbox Live Gold, Skype, OneDrive, Office 365, and more.

You can remove a family member from your Windows 10 account by going to Settings > Family & other people > Add or remove people. This should be done with care, as this person will also lose access to the other features of the Windows 10 account.

Parent accounts cannot be created from a child account, but you can contact the Quora team to have your account converted.

Apple’s Family Sharing feature can be canceled by going to Settings > Your Name > Family Sharing and tapping the “Leave Family” button.

You cannot delete a family group.
